After its launch in other parts of the world, technology vendor HP is finally set to launch its incredibly thin and ultra laptop, the HP Ultabook at the Corporate Consultants Limited’s (CCL) Nairobi IT Expo scheduled for Saturday June 9, 2012 at Oshwal Centre in Nairobi.
The morning launch, to be done in partnership with Red Dot – which also acts as the regional distributor for Microsoft, Samsung and Schneider Electric – will be part of the tech show in which software maker Microsoft will also have an operating system (OS) review session.
The Nairobi IT Expo, targeted at corporate leaders and technology enthusiasts, is an enterprise technology showcase. The event will also feature demos of the latest Microsoft Operating Systems and details of how Africa Pack – Microsoft’s software packaged in African languages – is performing in East Africa.
Additionally, Red Dot and Microsoft will map the previews at the Expo where other regional business technology implementers such as Blue Key, Matrix and Techno Brain will be showcasing, as it targets pervasiveness in particularly the corporate market where the use of tablet computers is high.
