Fans set to experience the 2013 Orange Africa Cup of Nations via StarAfrica.com portal




France Telecom Orange has through its StarAfrica.com portal pulled out all the stops to make sure all internet users enjoy the 2013 edition of the Africa Cup of Nations set for South Africa from January 19.

In order to deliver an exceptional experience to football fans, a team of sports journalists based in South Africa are to bring fans live and exclusive coverage of the events, and recapture the atmosphere in the host cities as well as video footage made on location featuring the day’s events.

A news feed including the latest items will also be available on Twitter and Facebook while all matches with have live text commentary, introducing the teams and their players, with live commentary of the matches, statistics and analysis after the game, along with interviews with the players and coaches.

The StarAfrica.com portal will have a photo gallery to relive the action and feel the atmosphere while a team of sports reporters and supporters in various African countries will be on hand to , provide articles and analysis of the competition.
