Oracle’s ‘PeopleSoft 9.2’ application to enhance business operations for clients

PeopleSoftAs a response to increased demand for professional services, Oracle has responded with the launch of its second generation PeopleSoft application set to be released this Friday.

The application dubbed ‘PeopleSoft 9.2’ provides comprehensive business and industry solutions, enabling organisations to increase productivity, accelerate business performance, and provide a lower cost of ownership.

“With revolutionary innovations in user experience, this revised application has new features and functionality designed to help users work more efficiently, get their work done quicker, and in a way that’s more familiar based on consumer technologies,” said Paco Aubrejuan, senior vice president and general manager, Oracle’s PeopleSoft Applications.

The software company has included more than 1000 new features, functions and enhancements in this new application that can be employed in human capital management, financials, supplier relationship and enterprise services automation.

Oracle will simultaneously provide upgrade scripts as well as the multi-language version of this product, a first for PeopleSoft applications. This enables their customers around the world to immediately begin implementing PeopleSoft 9.2 and reap its benefits sooner.

Building upon advancements in mobile technology, PeopleSoft 9.2 also includes new mobile capabilities for requisitioning for purchasing users via eProcurement, which enables users to place and approve orders from their mobile devices.
