For the last three months, Ernest Mwoya, 30, has been receiving frantic phone calls from his two children asking when their television set would light up again.

Mr. Mwoya, who works as an Army officer at Kenyatta Barracks in Gilgil has had a disturbing three months from when the analogue TV switch off  was effected in his home town, Busia.

“I never considered it a priority to get a set-top box till the kids came home for holiday,” said Mr. Mwoya

“I went into the Armed Forces Canteen at Nakuru’s Kenyatta Barracks and asked for a GOtv decoder as it was the most popular with my colleagues in the camp,” he added.

It has been two weeks of excitement for Mr. Mwoya’s family whose kids have already become fond with GOtv programming.
