Pioneer Gulf , a consumer and industrial audio and video products and car electronics vendor, has unveiled a new range of car entertainment products as it seeks to increase its market share in Kenya.

The 36 new models launched by the company in Nairobi consist of 23 head units, 12 car speakers and 1 car amplifier. The new products range has fascinating features like dual bluetooth technology, special head-unit with 3 pre out for matatus and 5 channel Amplifiers.

Speaking during the launch, Pioneer Senior Sales Manager, Mr. Anwar Hussein, disclosed that the company’s sales in Kenya increased by 250 per cent during the first half of 2015 compared to a similar period last year.

Hussein attributed the high sales to a vibrant dealership network that has made Pioneer products available to its target market across the country.

“Since we launched Pioneer in Kenya five years ago, we have seen growth as a result of strengthening our activities and promoting more market oriented products,” he said.

Much of the business growth has been recorded in the car entertainment product line.

He said the company will continue to invest in expanding its dealership network and opening more sales channels to stave off competition from other electronic manufacturers.

The company has also started a warranty card for its products in a bid to earn customer loyalty in an increasingly competitive market that has also been infiltrated by counterfeit products.

“Our objective is not just short-term sales expansion, but to make Pioneer the most preferred brand and increase long-term fan base,” said Hussein.

The company has introduced warranty stickers on all its products apart from speakers, which have 3D holograms that differentiate them from fake as a measure to deal with counterfeits.
