Kirusa, a global provider of telecom and social media solutions, has announced the appointment of Obafemi Banigbe to its advisory board. Femi is currently the Managing Partner at Silver Rock Technology Services, a startup business and technology consulting firm focusing on Information and Communication technology industries.
Prior to co-founding Silver Rock, Femi was the COO of Millicom Ghana (operators of Tigo) where he also functioned as the acting CEO and CTO. Before this, he was the CTO for Millicom Tanzania. Femi has held leadership roles in Airtel, Celtel & V-Mobile in Nigeria. He has also worked in Ericsson during his early career in several capacities.

Femi holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Federal University of Technology Minna, Nigeria. Has done Advance Management Program at London Business School & also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Manchester Business School, United Kingdom.
