“This year’s Annual Gathering will be the most innovative yet; we are breaking the frame between the arts world and the business world, combining approaches from both to further empower Africa’s leaders,” remarked ALN co-founder Fred Swaniker.

ALN co-founder Acha Leke said, about ALN2016: “ALN Annual Gatherings represent an opportunity for African leaders to get together on an annual basis, exchange ideas and best practices, and collaborate. Partnerships that have emerged from ALN Annual Gatherings have led to new ventures, business partnerships, and investment in projects that positively impact the continent of Africa.”

ALN brings together Africa’s most influential leaders from business, government, civil society, and the arts as part of its mission to build relationships and promote pan-African collaboration that will drive Africa’s prosperity.

ALN also has a strong focus on entrepreneurship through the Africa Awards for Entrepreneurship, an annual awards ceremony honoring Africa’s top entrepreneurs. ALN’s Annual Gathering will be held at the Westin Turtle Bay Resort & Spa. ALN was founded in 2010 by Acha Leke and Fred Swaniker.
