In an effort to create awareness about some of its new channels, StarTimes has since Saturday November 12 opened these channels to enable its target subscribers to freely sample what’s on offer.
During this period, aptly dubbed ‘Open – Week’, both existing and potential subscribers don’t have to pay anything to watch these channels as they are also open and free to the general viewing public.
For Startimes Open-Week, which comes to an end this Sunday November 20, it doesn’t matter what kind of decoder one is using, so long as one has a decoder, they can watch these channels as free to air (FTA) channels on their TV sets.
Startimes opened its 9 top entertainment channels to its subscribers as well as the general public. enabling every household including those with the StarTimes free to air decoders
Here’s the schedule for remainder of the Startimes Open-Week which runs from Friday November 18th to Sunday November 20th:

- Nat Geo Channel
- Sports Premium
- ST Series E1
From tomorrow, Friday, with just 3 days left to the end of the Open Week, we hope you’ll create time sample some of Startimes’ top channels for free and experience the exciting content.
Other channels that have been available during the open week were IDX, Bollywood Africa, Nat Geo wild, ST Movies, Fox Life, ST Series E1. The brand continues to offer relevant and competitive programming at affordable subscription fees from as low as Kshs 259 for Nyota and Kshs 1,499 for the Unique/ Super package.
