Tigo has announced that it will provide high-quality 4G LTE internet connection to all the participants of this year’s Kilimanjaro Marathon to be held on February 26 in Moshi, Kilimanajro region.
Making the announcement, Tigo’s Director of Northern Zone, George Lugata assured potential athletes, visitors, business people and other stakeholders of uninterrupted digital lifestyle from the telecom throughout the marathon period and beyond.

“The 4G LTE service will provide visitors with faster speeds to surf and download content from the internet and make Skype calls, giving them access to international quality internet that is five times faster than the 3G technology currently available in the market”, said Lugata.
Lugata added that Tigo, which has sponsored the annual event’s Half-Marathon (21 kms) will ensure that all the participants relish digital experience for video streaming/conferencing with high definition content, making their social interactions online even more pleasant.
