Pieter Bensch, quits HP Enterprise, to head Sage operations in Africa and Middle East




Sage, a provider of cloud accounting, people and payroll, and payment systems, has announced the appointment of Pieter Bensch as the company’s Executive VP for Africa and Middle East.

In this position, Bensch will lead the growth of Sage’s business across the region and focus on expanding its leadership in the market for cloud-based accounting, people & payroll, and payments software. He will also oversee the local strategy to help business builders and entrepreneurs move to an admin-free world by 2020.

Bensch joins Sage from HPE (Hewlett-Packard Enterprise), where he was the MD for South Africa. Prior to joining HP, Bensch held a range of senior positions at Oracle, including VP of Oracle Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), VP of Customer Support for MEA and VP and MD of Oracle SA.
