Telkom has opened a new retail shop, the first of 18 new outlets planned for the year as part of its strategy to increase distribution channels across the country.
The new shop that is located at the Village Market, Nairobi will provide support services to all of Telkom services ranging from sale of devices, airtime and registration of SIMs and T-Kash. This brings to 46 the number of Telkom’s retail shops across the country.

Aldo Mareuse, CEO, Telkom Kenya, said the new shops present an opportunity to cater to a growing subscriber base.
“Our ambition is to be physically and digitally accessible to our customers across the country. This is the reason why we are strategically investing in growing our customer touchpoints to deliver even better experiences,“ said Mareuse.
In addition to the retail shops, Telkom’s other touch points include a 24/7 call center and the My Telkom self-care app.
