Huawei is set to share its insights with other industry players at the Innovation Africa 2013 being held in Gaborone from October 15 to 17. During the Summit, Huawei will share industry insights on National Broadband, Data Centres and E-learning.
“As a global leader in ICT, we are excited to share our experiences and expertise with fellow industry participants to promote the growth of Africa towards a digital industrialized economy,’ said Dennis Episkopos, Huawei’s VP for Enterprise Software and Applications.
Episkopos added that Huawei believed in the sustainable growth of the region, and was committed to being a long-term investor by partnering with local governments and operators to create robust technologically advanced economies that support the current and future growth of Africa’s ICT industry, enabling the local industry and community to reap the benefits of enriched communications.
Episkopos, who will be Huawei’s expert for the summit, has over 27 years experience in the IT industry and has currently at Huawei defined the Strategy and Architecture for the next generation Cloud Enterprise Communications products and solutions using technologies such as WebRTC, UCaaS, Context Aware Communications, Web Conferencing and Collaboration.
