MultiChoice runs #GOtvServiceMonth campaign as part of 20-year anniversary




Pay-TV provider, MultiChoice has launched a Customer Service Month (#GOtvServiceMonth) for its GOtv subscribers as part of its on-going of 20 year celebration ahead of the festive season.

The 40-day customer service month, which will run from December 2015 to January 2016, will see MultiChoice service squad offer daily free decoder accessories, decoder diagnoses, repair faulty decoders and also educate subscribers do-it-yourself (DIY) self-help service techniques to help viewers enjoy uninterrupted viewing during the Xmas season.

“The customer service month is in line with our mission of enabling families to enjoy the affordable digital television in Kenya anytime, anywhere across the nation,” said Walingo Chiruyi, MultiChoice Kenya General Manager adding that all subscribers will have their decoders servcied for free.

This week will see the GOtv Service team cover Nairobi County around Central Business District, Kawangware, Donholm and Rongai

In Western, the service caravan will cover Bungoma, Webuye, Eldoret and Narok. The team will also be at Digo Road in Mombasa.

Last week, all subscribers in Nairobi participated in the customer service month at the various MultiChoice branches and shops including Thika Road Mall (TRM), The Point along Mumias South Road (Eastlands), Capital Centre (Mombasa road), MultiChoice container (Rongai) and MultiChoice container in Dagoretti Corner. Customers can also visit the MultiChoice Kenya offices in Westlands, Greenspan and T-Mall along Langata Road.

Subscribers from around the country should be on the look out for the next stop in a nearby town,

“Our subscribers will also get replacement of faulty accessories like remotes and power cables for free,” said Mr. Chiruyi.

The customer service month is also part of the GOtv festive season promotion where customers can obtain digital quality decoders at discounted rates and also stand a chance to win numerous items like t-shirts, decoders and subscriptions.

“The Customer Service Month will help remind our customers about our commitment to their satisfaction. Customer service is essential to successful business practice and growth and for us at Multichoice Kenya the customer comes first,” said Chiruyi.

Dstv subscribers can also upgrade their decoders and subscriptions at the service stations.

Since 1996, MultiChoice has transformed and expanded its service offering across various platforms such as satellite, Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) and mobile to cater to the diverse needs of Kenyan households.

The company kicked off the celebration of 20 years in Kenya in October with a aim of staying true to its vision  of  enriching  the  lives of  its subscribers  by  surrounding  them  with  a  world  of entertainment.
