Ooredoo Algeria has become the first MNO in North Africa to deploy a “Digital Signature” solution in its shops.
Entirely developed in Algeria, the solution digitises contracts and signatures, with the information being immediately loaded onto a document management system. As well as being more convenient for customers, the solution makes filing and tracking easier and removes the need to use paper, saving natural resources.
Ooredoo Algeria’s deployment of the solution has been so successful it received the “Mobile Innovation Solution of the Year” at the Inspire 2016 Award winners held in conjunction with the Lexmark Enterprise Software conference in Orlando, Florida.
Judges congratulated Ooredoo Algeria for the solution’s success in delivering significant process improvements, lower operating costs, faster customer response times, and improved compliance, control and visibility.
In other news, the company became the official sponsor of the National Fencing Team and the Algerian Fencing Federation.
The agreement was announced during the 16th African Fencing Championship in Algeria in April, which is part of the qualification process for the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Ooredoo Algeria’s support for fencing is part of the company’s wider engagement with sport across Algeria, at a grassroots, local and national level. The company looks to sponsor competitions and development programmes that encourage young people to pursue their sporting dreams and live healthier lifestyles.
