Kenya’s “My Finda”, the first search engine developed locally for businesses, is set to be launched on August 24, 2016 in Nairobi.
The main objective of My Finda app is to bridge the gap between the consumer and the seller and to provide visibility and accessibility for local Kenyan businesses. The portal was developed by Finda Mobile Application Limited which was formed in 2015. The My Finda app was activated in January 2016 and has almost 400 businesses registered on it and at least 5,000 downloads.
The app provides both Free Business Listing and Paid subscriptions which are packaged differently as per the need of the user – that is Basic, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum – with the different subscriptions coming with unique value-adds for the client. Businesses can register on My Finda; choose the ideal package that meets the Business needs.
My Finda provides online payments and is available for both Android and iOS devices.
