Local smartphone manufacturer Synergy Innovations Kenya Limited has entered into a deal with Bangledesh-based DataSoft to pre-install all future SILK smartphones with Microfin 360 solution which is mainly targeted at those in the micro-finance (MFI) sector.
The DataSoft partnership follows an earlier deal Synergy Innovations inked with Jamii Bora Bank (JBB) – one of the MFIs in Kenya – which enables JBB’s account holders to purchase the SILK smartphones at more flexible and discounted rates.

Synergy Innovation Kenya’s ies inaugural smartphone brand – the SILK Patriot 55 – was introduced to the local in early this year and retails at Kshs 25,000.
DataSoft specialises in the provision of solutions for the microfinance sector. When installed on a phone, the Microfin 360 app provides a dashboard in an easy-to-read, often single page, real-time user interface, showing a graphical presentation of the current status (snapshot) and historical trends of an organization’s key performance indicators to enable instantaneous and informed decisions to be made at a glance.” The dashboard allows managers to contribute various organizational decisions on the move.
Sparepart like brocken screen are not available in the market why is that so?
