The three were selected alongside Techweek100 Los Angeles 2016 where 100 of the most prominent tech leaders and innovators in the greater Los Angeles area were recognised.

Sponsored by Media Temple, United Airlines, Loud Interactive, Glen Grant and Hogan Lovells, the Techweek100 LA 2016 event awarded institutions in three categories — Ambassadors, Innovators, and Cultivators — with honorees being selected based on their contributions to the local tech ecosystem.

Innovators, both startups and established organizations, are chosen based on their track record in pushing the envelope of what’s possible in tech innovation. This year’s exceptional innovations included Oculus, Hyperloop, and Iris.TV.

This year’s Cultivators, chosen for their support of the local tech ecosystem, which enables business formation and economic vitality, include Goldhirsh Foundation, StartUp DTLA, and Greycroft Partners.

“As Techweek enters its fourth year in this city, the depth and scope of LA’s growing talent and innovation never ceases to amaze me,” says Amanda Signorelli, CEO of Techweek. “This impressive list of tech leaders and pioneers is a testament to LA’s position as a firmly established innovation center. I congratulate all our honorees and look forward to celebrating their achievements at Techweek LA.”
