m:Lab East Africa to launch Traction Camp Program on November 17




m:Lab East Africa in collaboration with infoDev (an arm of the World Bank),  and the support of partners including the Norad, SIDA and Finnish Government, will launch Traction Camp Program tomorrow November 17, 2016 at the iHub.

Traction Camp is a regional acceleration program aimed at nurturing  startups in East Africa so as to create globally competitive, growth-oriented, mobile and digital technology businesses. The program is supported by InfoDev together with Finnish government, SIDA and Norad.

Traction Camp will connect entrepreneurs with the knowledge, capital and markets they need to grow their enterprises.

Among those expected to attend are officials from the Embassy of Finland, Embassy of Sweden, Embassy of Norway and Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA). These will be accompanied by representatives from the World Bank, Ministry of ICT,  ICT Authority, Norad, telcos, development agencies, investors, hub managers and renown Kenyan entrepreneurs.
