With #StarTimesApp, you now have your entertainment on the go

School children are going to be home for quite a while this Christmas – remember the Ministry of Education announced in a circular that the 2017 first term will run from January 4, meaning that kids are still home for almost 2 more months from now.

This all means that many households are set for – or already going through – long drawn battles pitting adults against kids for the TV remote.

However, in order to save you from such ugly scenes, Startimes has launched its mobile app, which essentially let’s you enjoy your favourite programmes from your mobile phone while allowing the kids to take control of the TV.

The #StarTimesApp, which is free for download from the Google Playstore, has already been installed by over 100,000 susbcribers since it went live late last month. It already has positive reviews with over 1,800 people giving it a 5-star rating and an overall rating of 4.1.

The StarTimes App provides self-service and TV guides of StarTimes dish and antenna, as well as free online video and live matches of Bundesliga, Serie A, ICC (International Champions Cup) and more.

Through the StarTimes App, one can discover real hot shows, tele-novelas and series of love stories, mystery, romance, action and adventures from their mobile phone.

It also enables the subscriber to enjoy their best Hollywood, Nollywood and Kungfu movies and TV shows in English, French, Kiswahili and Hausa on the go while allowing them to easily recharge, change bouquet, check balance and expiry dates.

The app also has group chat feature, which allows one to chat with people with whom they enjoy similar programmes from all over the world. An example here is the Bundesliga chat room where lovers of Bundesliga league can chat about the upcoming matches, predict the scores and so on.

To learn more about the app and how to use it, rush and download the Startimes App from Google Playstore.
