Dick Omondi exits Airtel Kenya after almost 6 years, joins Audimu

Dick Omondi has exited from his position as Corporate Affairs Director, Airtel Kenya amd joined Audimu, a new marketing, corporate relations and PR startup based in Nairobi as an Associate.

Dick joined Airtel Kenya in later 2010 as the telco’s Head of Corporate Communications and PR unit, a position he held for the next three and half years. In this role, he lead the brand and communications business unit in design and implementation of the brand and corporate reputation strategy with stakeholder.(TOP: Dick Omondi – second from left, foreground – with listen to Education CS Dr Fred Matiang’i during a past event).

In early 2014, he was made Corporate Communications & CSR Director, a position he held for 8 months, leading Bharti Airtel subsidiary’s Corporate Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility strategy and implementation with stakeholders to ensure business growth.

From November 2014, he assumed a new role of Corporate Affairs Director, position he held until July 2016 when he left the company.

Before coming back to Kenya, Dick had stints working for regional telecoms firms – including Vodacom Tanzania where he was the Marketing Director from June 2006 till November 2008 and Celtel Uganda where he served as the Senior Marketing Manager between 2003 and 2005. Dick joined Airtel Kenya from Kenya Airways.
