USIU-Africa to host Roundtable on Higher Education and Media on March 1

The higher education sector is currently under scrutiny for delivery of quality education. More broadly, the Ministry of Education is evaluating the quality of learning from primary to higher education, including TVET colleges.

Factors such as population growth, work force requirements, global competition and new higher education delivery methods are influencing this rapid change. Ultimately, higher education is a growing sector.

It is view of this that the United States International University – Africa (USIU-Africa) has organised a session meant to engage stakeholders in a roundtable discussion on the 1st of March 2017 at the Intercontinental Hotel Nairobi at 6.30 pm to discuss the higher education sector transformation.

Event details:

Session:       Roundtable on Higher Education and Media

Date:            Wednesday March 1, 2017

Time:           6.30pm

Venue:         Intercontinental Hotel, Nairobi

During the event, USIU-Africa will also seek to hear attendees’ perspectives on the role of media in promoting/reporting higher education issues for quality improvement. The event is designed to help ask questions, provide feedback and build networks.
