In the wake of new technologies making life simpler and much easier, Airtel Kenya has launched a new voice product that is meant to simplify the lives of Wananchi by offering more for less.
The new offer dubbed “Tubonge”, targets Kenyans from all walks of life that rely on making calls as their preferred mode of communication.

There are 3 Tubonge offers, a daily offer for Kshs 10, a weekly offer for Kshs 50 and a monthly offer that goes for Kshs 150. All Tubonge offers come with 100 minutes for Airtel to Airtel calls per day and a Kshs 2 calling rate to any other network.
To opt in on the new offer, customers get to dial *544# and choose the first option which gives them the various categories for daily, weekly or monthly offers. For instance, for Tubonge 10, dial *544*10#
The launch of “Tubonge” continues to stamp Airtel’s commitment to offer innovative and value for money products and services to its customers.
Speaking at the launch event, Airtel Kenya CEO, Prasanta Das Sarma stated that Tubonge is aimed at making the lives of the local Wananchi easier as it offers affordability and convenience thus making Airtel the preferred telecommunications service provider.

We endeavor to keep giving our customers the very best products and services that will positively impact their lives. ”

Tubonge is available to all new and existing prepaid customers.
Customers can subscribe to Tubonge by dialing *544# from an Airtel line, and follow the prompts to complete the transaction. Tubonge can be used with other offers while bundles like UnlimiNet and Tosha will have a higher priority than the Tubonge offer. However, on auto renewal, the unused minutes are forfeited and not rolled over and Tubonge minutes are only valid for local use.
