Below are the event details:

Event: BYOB Finalists meet up

Date: Wednesday 5th April 2017

Time: 4.30pm to 8.00pm

Agenda:

Attendees will get to meet the winner of BYOBTV Show – Valentine Nekesa – and hear her story. The session will also provide an opportunity for attendees to discuss the power of digital and how today’s internet era consumer has more power than ever to interact with brands via different digital channels.

The panelists will be:

– Valentine Nekesa – Winner BYOBTVShow

– Caroline Mutoko – Judge

– Trushar Kheita – Judge

– King Kaka – Judge

– Peter Kuria – Brand Assets Manager at Safaricom

The BYOB jury and the BAKE team will seek to unpack what it takes to build a strong fashion brand and also gain practical tips on what it takes to leverage the shift on buying behaviour in contemporary times. This is relevant as it comes at a time when projections are that over 50 percent of purchases in Kenya will be influenced by digital in one way or other in the near future.
