Tsahy Shapsa, ex-cybersecurity head at Israeli PM’s office, joins IRONSCALES board




Email security firm IRONSCALES has announced the addition of cybersecurity expert and entrepreneur Tsahy Shapsa to the company’s board of directors.

A cybersecurity industry veteran, Shapsa in 2007 co-founded Cloudlock, a cloud security provider, which was acquired by Cisco in 2016 for $293 million. Based in Boston, Shapsa will play a key role in spearheading IRONSCALES’ strategy around business development, sales and overall growth.

As a member of the board of directors, Shapsa will be responsible for developing growth strategy and long-term operational and financial planning, as well as overseeing the company’s performance.

Prior to Cloudlock, Shapsa had a 20-year career includes various business and technology management roles with companies such as Sun Microsystems (acquired by Oracle), and NetApp both domestically and internationally. Shapsa has also served as the security team leader at Israeli PM’s office.

It was incubated in the 8200 EISP, the top program for cyber security ventures, founded by alumni of the Israel Defense Forces’ elite Intelligence Technology unit.
