Kameme TV now available on DStv and GOtv platforms




Kameme TV, a vernacular TV station from local media services provider MediaMax Group, is now on both DStv and GOtv platforms in Kenya, allowing MultiChoice through its DStv and GOtv services to expand its local offering to its subscribers on its platforms. The TV station was launched on the two platforms on April 25 2017 at 12.00 noon.

This partnership with Media Max Networks is a further assurance to our DStv and GOtv subscribers of our commitment to provide unrivalled entertainment on our platforms.”

According to MediaMax Group CEO, Ian Fernandes, Kameme TV has put together a quality line up of content that will entertain and excite DStv and GOtv subscribers. “We are proud that MultiChoice Kenya can host Kameme TV on both its platforms as this will enable more viewers access the local content on our station. We are keen to continue providing access to both media and entertainment to Kenyans in their first languages even as Kameme TV joins a growing staple of Mediamax brands which include K24 TV, People Daily, Milele FM, Kameme FM, Mayan FM, Pilipili FM and Meru FM”, said Fernandes.

Kameme TV promises to provide programming including news, interactive stories, entertainment, features, comedies, drama shows and soap operas all broadcast in Kikuyu. The entertainment line-up will offer captivating programmes ranging from dramas, soaps, musical shows, Kikuyu cultural shows, game shows and religious shows. Kameme TV will cater for the burgeoning vernacular television audience that has grown as a result of the digital migration in Kenya.

Kameme TV is available on all packages on DStv channel 276 and GOtv channel 100.
