BAKE to host digital security and internet freedoms workshop at NaiLab




BAKE will host a digital security and internet freedoms workshop in Nairobi on Saturday 13th 2017. The training targets bloggers and Social Media users.

The internet freedoms training will be facilitated by an Advocate of the High Court, Mugambi Laibuta while the digital security training – to be conducted in partnership with the International Research & Exchanges Board (IREX) – will be facilitated by Ephraim Muchemi.

This being an election year, BAKE has recognized the need for Bloggers and Social Media users to have knowledge on digital security and internet freedom, leading to the partnership with CIPESA and IREX to put together the training workshop.

The Nairobi training is one of two, with the other one taking place in Kisumu on 20th May 2017.
