HMD Global unveils new range of Nokia smartphones in Kenya




HMD Global has announced that its first Nokia smartphone range – comprising of the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 – will be available through mobile phone service provider, Safaricom, and through selected retailers.

Unveiled at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the Android-powered devices have distinctive design and various entertainment all meant to appeal to the user.

Nokia 6: Has 5.5” full HD screen and smart audio amplifier with dual speakers to allow consumers to experience a deep bass. Retails at Kshs 25,o00.

Nokia 5: Comes with a laminated 5.2” IPS HD display with sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass. Costs Kshs 20,000.

Nokia 3: Features a fully laminated 5” IPS display with no air gap and sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass. Available at a retail price of Kshs 15,000.

Nokia 3310: The redesigned version of the once-popular model will retail at Kshs 5,300.
