Retoria will give Kenyan shoppers options to buy over five thousand products at affordable prices
Retoria online shopping has announced that it will give its customers the option to shop from a wide range of products at affordable prices, as the Kenyan e-commerce player looks to up its game in the stiff online business industry in Kenya.
The company has identified about 25 credible Kenyan vendors who will sell high-end products such as electronics, fashion, home and living, and mobile accessories at cheaper rates. The company also plans to cut short the delivery time and is investing in technology and infrastructure for enhancing its logistics support by meeting the demand of customers intending to service deliveries on the same day and the next-day.
“Stock is the main pillar of commerce, after payments and logistic, which requires optimization in Kenya. We can assure our customers that we can deliver their orders within 3 days and 24 hours for those around Nairobi,” said John Kanyiha, the MD for Retoria.
Retoria looks forward to partner with offline traders for selling products, will start providing one-day and two-day deliveries for appliances and electronics products across major cities all over Kenya in the first phase.
“Our products are affordable compared to the offline market since we have a direct contact with the dealers. We have conducive relationships with our merchants who give us their products at a reasonable price. Also, we have bonded warehousing facilities for storing products and trusted payments like M-Pesa pay bill number which further reduces transaction fees,” he said.
Under this new repositioning, online shoppers will be able to enjoy great discounts from our wide range of products. In fact, they can also resell at retail.
Kanyiha said the strategy would help Kenyan merchant sell plenty of new products online at a competitive pricing.
