The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA), will host a breakfast meeting with the purpose of sensitising the broadcasters on the second edition of the Kuza awards.
Kuza Awards in an intuitive of the CA to celebrate excellence in Kenyan broadcasting scene by awarding the very best in broadcast programming and compliance as per the ICT Law. This time round, it will also recognize and reward responsible and responsive broadcasting that caters for the varied needs and susceptibilities of the different section of the Kenyan community.

The CA in collaboration with broadcasting industry stakeholders, developed The Programming Code for free-to-air Radio and Television. The code sets the standards for the time and manner of programmes to be broadcast by broadcasting licensees.
The meeting will be officiated by the Director General of the CA, Francis Wangusi. Also present will be broadcasting fraternity, Chairperson, Digital Broadcasters Association, Media Council of Kenya , Executive Director Kenya Copyright Board and Kenya Film Commission CEO.
The breakfast meeting will be held on Monday December 4, 2017 at Radisson Blu hotel, Nairobi, from 7am.
