As part of the launch plans to launch Y9 2019 device in the market that will soon be available on Jumia and retail stores across the country, the company has rolled out a campaign dubbed “price guess” where the general public are encouraged to reveal how much the phone will retail and win gift hampers.
The new device is being introduced in the market under the Y series family following previous launches of Y7 Prime 2018 that retails at Kshs 17,999 and Y5 Prime 2018 retails at Kshs 9,999.
Speaking of the campaign, Head of Eastern Africa Mobile Steven Li said: “Once again there is a new and exciting smartphone joining the Huawei device family in Kenya! The countdown to the launch of the Huawei Y9 2019 has just began and even before getting to experience the unique features this smartphone, there are a number of exciting things.”
“Everyone now can take part in the price guessing activity both online and offline and the lucky winners who manage to guess the correct price of the Huawei Y9 2019 will get giveaways with a range of gifts and assorted prizes,” he concluded.
