OPPO Kenya has announced the launch of the OPPO A7 in the local market, a device which the vendor says offers customers high performance, quality and trendy design.
“The A7 series is a smartphone that offers its users the ultimate user experience while being very pocket friendly for the festive season. The integrity that has gone into making this phone is high engineering yet the company has seen it wise to offer the phone at a cost-effective price,” said OPPO Communications and PR Manager, James Irungu.
The A series has been among OPPO’s best-selling range of smartphones since its launch. And the new OPPO A7 doubles up on the two important features that are key considerations for customers – the 4230mAh huge battery and storage capacity of 64GB (and 3GB RAM).
The OPPO A7 also comes with an entirely new feature to the “A” series – a Waterdrop screen plus premium texture on the back cover. The screen occupies almost all of the A7’s display except for a small droplet shaped notch.
“The small droplet shaped notch at the top on the screen of the phone, we call it “Waterdrop Screen”, inspired by a water drop that is about to fall. Natural and less obvious, Waterdrop Screen has been widely accepted as the most beautiful notch type smartphone in the market,” observed Irungu.
The tiny waterdrop contains a 16MP front camera and sensors that makes A7 the phone with the highest screen to body ratio of the OPPO A series. Those with active desire to watch sports or play video games on this device will be pleased to learn that it comes with 6.2-inch HD+ In cell Screen with a screen to body ratio of A7 is 88.4%, providing a more interactive user experience which is ideal for playing games or watching videos.
A7 also applies Corning Gorilla Glass, providing greater resistance to scratches.
Available in two colour variants – Glaring Gold and Glaze Blue -, the OPPO A7 retails at Kshs 23,990.
