A London-based online e-commerce platform that focuses on business-to-business (B2B) customers, goAfrica, has sealed a partnership with Finserve to provide payment solutions for online buying and selling of products.
Buyers from across Africa will now be able to buy and pay for goods from merchants located in various markets in a fast, convenient and secure process, following goAfrica’s full integration of Finserve’s Jenga Payment Gateway.
“Buyers and sellers can now settle transactions in a fast and secure process. The Jenga Payment Gateway has further taken away the challenges of multi-currency and cross-border settlements that are associated with online trade,” said goAfrica Kenya GM, Boniface Munywoki.
Finserve introduced the Jenga Payment Gateway in 2018, making it possible for businesses to receive e-commerce and m-commerce payments from a host of payment channels such as American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diners, JCB, Union Pay and other card associations from 180 countries, mobile wallets from 7 countries across East & Central Africa as well as from fintech players such as Alipay and Wechat.
“We have simplified integration for businesses with an online presence, be they large or small, allowing the companies to concentrate on their core business activities. Jenga Payment Gateway offers the widest payment options coupled with seamless integration, allowing customers to pay for goods using their preferred method, whether its debit or credit cards, mobile money or electronic wallets” said Finserve MD, Jack Ngare.
goAfrica is additionally working with Finserve to introduce other capabilities that will catalyse ecommerce trade.
