Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ now available in retail outlets in Kenya

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ are now available for purchase within Samsung authorized dealer outlets countrywide.

The Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ which feature the Infinity-O displays, new S Pen, ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and a new, efficient Exynos 9825 chipset were launched in the country early last month and were up for pre-orders until end of August.

According to Charles Kimari, Head of Mobile Division at Samsung Electronics East Africa, the pre-order period was a good indicator of market preference as well as the trends and possible future success of the device.

“With the unveiling of any of our flagship devices, we begin with pre-orders. This is purely focused on generating customer awareness well in advance, and guarantees that diehard or eager consumers get their device immediately it is in the market. There is also the added advantage of a complimentary gift. With the pre-order period over, we now look forward to enabling our customers to get their hands on their devices and to experience the next level power that everyone has been waiting for,” Kimari added.

For the first time ever, the all-powerful Note series launched in two variants; the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10+. Both bring upgrades to design and hardware compared to last year’s Note 9. The Galaxy Note 10 range of devices are equipped to take consumers to the next-level of experience offered on any device, as they both come with revolutionary S Pen air action, enhanced battery life – enabled by its high processing power and speed, and the power and ability to do so much more on one’s handset.

On the visual front, both the Note 10 devices spot new Infinity-O punch-hole curved displays with extremely thin bezels, as well as Gorilla Glass 6 protection on the front and back. The Galaxy Note 10+ is bigger with a 6.8” display, packing a whopping 12GB RAM, 256GB ROM memory, with expandable memory of up to 1TB; while the Galaxy Note 10 comes with a 6.3” display and 8GB RAM, 256 ROM.

The Note 10 houses a 3,500mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging, while the Note 10+ gets a beefier 4,300mAh battery and supports up to 45W fast charging. Both phones support wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare.

Samsung has also included more cameras to the Note 10 series, with the additional camera features being Live Focus, Zoom in Mic, Night mode, Super Slo-mo and Super Steady mode for videos.

The Galaxy Note10+ will retail at Kshs 120,000 while the Note 10 will be retailing at Kshs 104,000.
