Aspira Kenya, a digital product financing company, has unveiled a new and refreshed brand identity as part of its growth strategy in the market, as it gears to become the leader in digital hire purchase space.
Following the growth of the business since setting up in the market in 2018, Aspira has evolved and as a result believe it is critical to refresh the company logo and brand colours to reflect a more modern look and feel in alignment with the company’s mission to deliver the best quality, performance and service support across its offerings.
Speaking on the announcement, Aspira’s MD, Yoeal Haile said the company aims to continue helping Kenyans to live their best lives today through its product financing solutions, facilitate ownership of various goods and commodities while allowing consumers to manage their finances.
“Our customers are at the heart of how we do business and we want to help them achieve their aspirations sooner rather than later. Our aspiration is to provide customers with and affordable way of realizing their dreams, accessing various products they need, through our competitive financing solutions,” said Haile.
The company, which has been in the market for a year has more than 70 registered partners and a presence in over 100 points of sales in Nairobi and Mombasa, establishing itself as a reputable product financing organization, evidenced by its customer base that has grown tenfold on a monthly basis this year in order to use the platform to access products from a list of vetted and approved retailers.
With retail partners such as Victoria Courts,, Tile & Carpet Centre, Hotpoint, Kingsway Tyres and Superfoam Mattresses among others, Aspira provides a unique value proposition to customers who wish to own products and to pay for their products over a period not exceeding 12 months.
“We are allowing Kenyans to plan for their lives and finances responsibly. By giving them this offering, we allow them to pay for products they need without straining their pockets. We pride ourselves on being a responsible lender and not overextending borrowers which is common in the market,” added Haile.
According to the 2019 FinAccess report, 90 percent of Kenyans have access to both formal and informal financial services. With the relaunch of Aspira in the market, the gap between the urban and rural dwellers will further be bridged as more people will have access to credit which allows them to purchase merchandise across the country, at an affordable rate.
Under their campaign dubbed Lipa Baadaye, Aspira also aims to empower its customers with the knowledge and skills to take control of their finances through strategic borrowing to facilitate their lifestyles.
“Deepening access to financial facilities enables an economy to thrive. With our offerings, we believe that both the end-users and the retailers will be empowered thus boosting the country’s economy,” concluded Haile.
Cim Credit Kenya’s Aspira platform was launched at the end of 2018 to offer Kenyans more choice about how to buy on credit. Aspira allows customers to buy goods and services ranging from household goods and personal electronics to travel and insurance on credit, with free credit assessment, competitive rates and limits of up to Kshs 500,000. The Aspira mobile application is available for iOS and Android smartphones.
