HMD Global has announced the availability of Nokia 7.2 to the Kenyan market, following the pre-order phase that kicked off on September 17, 2019.
Nokia 7.2 is the first Nokia smartphone to combine a triple camera and PureDisplay. The device features a 48MP triple camera with Quad Pixel technology and ZEISS Optics. Nokia 7.2 also introduces a range of ZEISS bokeh styles, exclusive to Nokia smartphones, that recreate the way legendary ZEISS lenses produce high visual impact and signature blur. The Nokia 7.2 combines the PureDisplay technology and always-on HDR, as well as Nordic design.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform, Nokia 7.2 offers balanced performance on the go, making sure the phone is ready when you need it is needed and comes fitted with a two-day battery life promise.
As part of the Android One partnership, Nokia 7.2 is Android Q ready and will receive guaranteed monthly security updates for three years and OS updates for two years. Users will thus access the latest features such as AI assisted adaptive battery, app actions and Android 9 Pie.
The Nokia 7.2 comes with a dedicated Google Assistant Button that one can press to quickly access their favourite assistant. Users can also access Google Assistant’s new Ambient Mode feature which provides an always-on-display when the device is charging. The feature allows one to view upcoming calendar entries, commute times and other contextual information without having to pick up the device.
In addition, Nokia 7.2 users will receive a 3-month membership trial to Google One at no extra cost. With Google One membership, one is assured that their photos, videos, messages and other files are safely and automatically backed up in the cloud. With Nokia 7.2, Google One members will get 100GB of cloud storage across Google Drive, Gmail and Google Photos and access to premium support from Google experience.
The Nokia 7.2 comes in Cyan Green and Charcoal grey, and retails from Kshs 34,000. In terms of accessories, the Nokia 7.2 comes with wireless earbuds from both the open market and Safaricom stores.
