In an effort to enable its individual and corporate customers cope with the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, Sweden-based IT security firm ESET has announced that its extending the free trial period of its ESET ESET Internet Security solutions from the current 30 days to 90 days, that is from 1 month to 3 months.
For corporate users, ESET has announced that its extending the 90-day trials of the ESET Endpoint Protection Cloud (up to 250 seats) and ESET Secure Authentication.
In an update, Ken Kimani, ESET’s Channel Manager for East Africa, stated that the move is meant to assist consumers and small businesses across all industries to stay safe and secure online.
“As the world continues to face up to the challenges posed by the spread of COVID-19 (Corona Virus) and adjust to the new normal that has affected individuals and businesses alike, we would like to share with you our campaigns that will assist consumers and small businesses across all industries to stay safe and secure online,” he stated.
For individual consumers, ESET is extending the free trial period of ESET Internet Security from 30 days to 90 days. The free trial can be downloaded from the firm’s dedicated webpage. For business users and corporate customers, the 90-day free trial period for the ESET Endpoint Protection Cloud (up to 250 seats) and ESET Secure Authentication will be offered through ESET’s dedicated landing page known as the SMB Remote Workforce page.
The website will also provide users with a range of free resources that they can use to stay safe from digital risks and also learn more about what ESET can do to help them.
“The goal of these campaigns is to help existing and prospective customers navigate this shift to the online way of doing things including working and remote management. The campaigns will be bolstered on our end by online marketing efforts,” noted Kimani.
