Digital banking platform Kwara has announced the launch of a Customer Success Traineeship Program, as part of its broader agenda to build capacity for rising young Kenyan professionals, to offer mentorship and to develop knowledge in Customer Success Operations. The 6-month program will onboard and train up to 10 graduates over the next year. Successful trainees will have the opportunity to apply for a full-time role in Kwara’s Customer Success Department at the end of the program, launching their careers in fintech.
“This program speaks to our commitment to build knowledge here in Kenya and to enhance the customer-centric mentality needed in today’s business world – especially in the fintech sector. We hope that through this program, our trainees will be equipped with the requisite skills to expand their knowledge base and grow as impeccable Customer Success Representatives, launching their careers in the tech space,” said Cynthia Wandia, co-founder and CEO of Kwara.
The program targets university graduates in Kenya who are motivated, talented and eager to begin building a career in the ever-evolving fintech space. Applicants will be chosen through a competitive application process. Through this program, Kwara aims to provide successful applicants with a platform for career growth, through intensive training in delivering world-class customer support.
The program will consist of immersive training, client shadowing and regular assessments led by Kwara’s Customer Account Managers as well as Management.
