Preview: WWE weekly programme schedule, August 4 – 10, 2021

Fans of the WWE can gear up for another thrilling week of action on SuperSport, with live airings of the NXT, SmackDown and Raw shows running from Wednesday 4 to Tuesday 10 August 2021.

SuperSport is your #HomeOfSport and the only place to see all your favourites from the WWE Universe!

The action begins on the morning of Wednesday 4 August with WWE NXT Episode 628. Drake Maverick and LA Knight have sparked off a rivalry which promises to grow into a key battle on the yellow brand.

“You’re gonna need all the help you can get if you keep talking like that,” said Knight to Maverick. “What is it, bring your idiot to work day? Who brought you? Tell you what: sign that permission slip, punch your ticket. You and me in the ring.”

Saturday 7 August brings Episode 1146 of WWE SmackDown. After an impressive win over Zelina Vega on her blue brand debut, Toni Storm is determined to work her way up the ranks and challenge for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

“If we look at the history books, I went to NXT UK, climbed that ladder, went to NXT, climbed that ladder… and now I’m here, Friday night SmackDown, and ready to climb this big, big ladder to the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Expect to see good things.”

Tuesday 10 August will feature Episode 1472 of WWE Raw. After losing his debut Raw match to veteran Jeff Hardy, Karrion Kross proved himself with a victory over Keith Lee – underlining that he is one to watch on the red brand.

“Tough loss is an interesting choice of words,” said Kross. “I would say Jeff Hardy cheated. But then again he might be the smartest man in WWE, because If I were him, that’s exactly what I would have done. He lit a fire in me. I need to understand and not lose sight that people will do anything they possibly can to get out of that ring in one piece. In the end, everyone pays the toll.”

No rival can compete with SuperSport‘s  coverage. Our viewers on DStv have found their #HomeOfSport.
