From Safaricom, Carolyne Kendi moves to Absa Kenya as head of Marketing and Communications




Absa Bank Kenya has announced the appointment of Carolyne Kendi to the position of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), effective 15 December 2022.

Kendi brings onboard a wealth of experience in the practice of marketing and brand building having worked in multiple industries and markets across East, West and Southern Africa in leading corporates including Unilever, Diageo and Safaricom.

Kendi joined Safaricom May 2018 as the

Kendi holds an MBA in Strategic Management from the United States International University – Africa (USIU-A), a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Nairobi and a Post Graduate Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM-UK).

Absa Bank Kenya is listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE). The Bank is engaged in personal and institutional banking, bancassurance and asset management. The Bank has a regional and global footprint which enables it to offer end-to-end financial solutions to retail and institutional clients.
