OPPO Kenya announces winners of the #OppoLegend Challenge, a celebration of the brand’s superfans

Global smart devices brand, OPPO, has announced winners of the #OPPOLegend challenge, which invited Kenyans on social media to showcase their oldest OPPO phones demonstrating the evolution of OPPO devices over the years. Dubbed the “#OPPOLegend”, the challenge sought to take users down memory lane showing a collective journey of the OPPO brand and its devices since it first got in to the Kenyan market in 2015.

Out of many heartfelt entries, a few outstanding contributors were named winners in the #OPPOLegend challenge. They were: @_Z.o.e.y, @Allan_Surveyor, Kerubo Sam Morgan, and @mwenda_k, whose OPPO journey has been truly legendary.

The #OPPOLegend challenge was not just about nostalgia; it was also a powerful testament to OPPO’s unwavering commitment to quality. Many participants proudly shared their old OPPO phones, still in pristine condition after years of use. This speaks volumes about the durability and reliability of OPPO devices, a factor that has endeared the brand to Kenyans.

“The overwhelming success of the #OPPOLegend challenge has spurred OPPO Kenya to unveil plans for even more engaging initiatives. Beyond an exploration of the brand’s rich history, these endeavors will provide opportunities for everyone to forge connections with OPPO, including those who have yet to experience the magic of OPPO devices” said Fredrique Achieng, the PR Manager at OPPO Kenya.

OPPO is deeply committed to maintaining product quality, a dedication that extends beyond factory tests to include valuable insights gathered from market feedback across various regions where OPPO operates. This comprehensive approach involves assessing factors such as device maintenance rates and product withdrawal rates. Thanks to OPPO’s stringent quality requirements and thorough testing across diverse parameters, the failure rates of the brand’s devices are exceptionally low. Notably, user competitions like the “#OPPOLegend” showcase customers still using devices that were initially launched when OPPO entered the Kenyan market. Building on this success, OPPO will persist in prioritizing quality as a cornerstone of its commitment to consumers, ensuring the delivery of reliable products and high-quality services through its end-to-end quality assurance.
