The Galaxy S24 series was unveiled at the Samsung Unpacked 2024 event in February this year. The series featured three models – the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 – with Samsung holding nothing back in terms of design, and functionality features embedded in the devices, all in an effort to give its premium customers the best user experience possible.
Packed with the best-in-class in terms of productivity features and design aesthetics, the buyers of the Galaxy S24 series come ready and armed with the right amount of cash, prepared to spare no expense to acquire their ultimate communication tool.
This is because the Galaxy S24 models are not modestly priced, and the decision to purchase one leaves a real dent on the customer’s wallet (or bank account).
When they were unveiled in February, the Galaxy S24 (8+256GB) was the cheapest in the series with its Kshs 175,000 price tag; followed by the Galaxy S24+ (12+256GB variant) which was retailing for Kshs 190,000; then the Galaxy S24+ (12+512GB variant) costing Kshs 235,000. Then for those with even deeper pockets (and healthier bank accounts), there is the Galaxy S24 Ultra (12+256GB variant) with a launch price of Kshs 275,000; while the most premium of the lot, the 12+512GB variant, debuted in the market for Kshs 277,000.
Over 8 months since the premium versions of the Galaxy S24 series were introduced to the market, and in effort to bring the premium features and benefits to an event greater number of its customer base and the brand’s enthusiasts, Samsung Electronics East Africa is this month scheduled to launch the Galaxy S24 FE (or Fans Edition) in Kenya. The Galaxy S24 FE is therefore targeted at S24 lovers keen to experience the features and functionalities of the device but locked out due to cash resources and budget constraints.
Already on sale in other markets – including India – the Galaxy S24 FE will be added to Galaxy AI ecosystem, ushering users to superior mobile experiences to more at a relatively cheaper and attainable prices compared to the flagship models unveiled at Samsung Unpacked 2024.
The Galaxy S24 FE will be the successor to the Galaxy S23 FE launched over a year ago in October 2023.
The Galaxy FE devices are recognized for their iconic and durable designs, advanced performance, unmatched camera and audio capabilities. The Galaxy S23 FE series were priced from Kshs 100,000, and available in three colour variants – Mint, Cream, Graphite, and Purple.
Let’s wait to see what kind of surprises Samsung has in store for the market when the Galaxy S24 is unveiled in the coming days in terms of pricing, design features, and built-in functionality tools. Keep it here.
