They received inspirational talks from a team of mentors and entertainment from renowned artists like
Kaligraph Jones, King Kaka, Timmy T Dat among others).

“The first season of BLAZE which kicked off last year was fantastic. We are even happier to see the increased number of Blazers who have benefited from the mentorship summits and boot camps. It’s been a great learning experience forward and we look to the new and exciting twist of Season 2 of the TV show,” said Sylvia Mulinge, Director of Consumer Business, Safaricom.

The BLAZE TV Show auditions brought a great platform for each BLAZEr to convince the judges of their merit to take part in the competition. In the auditions, Judges scored pitches individually and an average score will be used to determine a candidate’s final score and whether they progress onto Season 2 of the TV Show or not.

Over 36,000 young people have so far attended the preceding creation camp and summits which started with Meru, Eldoret, Nakuru, Machakos Mombasa and then to Nairobi.

Some of the mentors at the Nairobi summit included; Nick Ondu – Fashion Blogger, Enos Olik- Video Director, Tosh Gitonga – Film Director, Jibril Blessing-Producer and videographer, Njugush- Comedian and actor, Abel Mutua- content developer, Wycliffe Waweru- entrepreneur and bicycle manufacturer, Caleb Karuga – Agripreneur as well as Bryan Wanyama of Matwana Matatu Culture.
